Live-In House Manager / Personal Assistant — St Tropez

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and multi-skilled House Manager/PA for his large luxury residence in St Tropez. The manager will be required to work 45 hrs per 5.5 day week with occasional overtime being required when the property is at its busiest. The client is in residence at the property on a regular basis throughout the year. There are several staff already employed at the property to include an exterior/technical manager with whom the house manager will liaise.

Duties will include:

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the household, and establish routines with the current team to ensure that these are met

  • Handle household accounts, budgeting, and inventory management

  • Coordinate staff schedules and ensure effective communication among the team

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the property is well-maintained and secure

  • Manage household inventory

  • Arrange travel and transportation for the Principal

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion at all times

  • Protect the privacy and security of the household and its members

  • Liaise with the property’s exterior/technical manager

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years previous experience in a similar high-pressure role

  • A good level of both spoken English and French

  • Able to multi-task, assisting client/guests with their concierge needs whilst overseeing the running of the home and staff

  • Excellent letters of reference from previous employers

  • Clean driving license

  • Flexible approach, able to accept last-minute changes to itinerary etc

  • Be reactive, proactive and professional at all times

 

Accommodation is provided on-site for all the client’s resident staff.

Salary: €4k npm (poss. neg)

Start date: ASAP​
