Administrative Assistant ~ Cagnes sur Mer

A well-established Financial & Individual Client Services company on the Côte D’Azur is currently seeking a long-term administrative assistant. The company offers a wide range of advice and assistance with finance, investments, tax, insurance, healthcare, pensions and mortgages to a mostly English-speaking clientele.

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to become a key part of the team. The assistant will take on a wide variety of tasks having the initiative to assist clients directly and seek solutions for their varied queries, while providing support to the financial advisors ; handling personal information with integrity and sensitivity.

 This is a varied and interesting role that requires a ‘hands-on’ approach, working individually and fully supporting the two Financial Advisors. Candidates are not required to have previously worked in the financial sector, as long as they have good relevant skills and are comfortable working in an informal, upbeat and often very busy environment. Working hours will be 9.00 – 17.30 - 5 days per week.

Housekeeper ~ Cap Martin

Our client is seeking a highly professional and experienced live-out housekeeper to join the interior team at her large luxury property on Cap Martin. An adaptable and flexible approach is required as this role involves working as a team, meaning that working hours and days will be on a weekly rota, 5 days per week/40hrs pw, working either the morning shift starting at 6:30am-3.30pm or the afternoon shift 1pm-10pm; the housekeeper will be required to work these shift times on alternating weeks. Weekend work will sometimes be required with days off being taken during the week.

Duties:

  • 5* Housekeeping

  • Liaising with butler/chef for meal service

  • Packing and unpacking suitcases

  • Laundry & ironing when required

Requirements

Live-In Butler/Manager  ~ Tanneron  ~ Start June‘25

Our client is currently seeking an experienced, energetic and knowledgeable long-term butler who has the ability to also provide simple management skills to ensure the smooth-running of his large, newly renovated property in Tanneron and oversee the small interior team. The Western European employer spends several months each year in residence at the property, often alone or with two close family members; in the summer season there will be busy weeks/weekends with guests regularly staying at the property. Applicants must like and be comfortable around dogs as the Principal has two medium/large breed family dogs at the property.

 

Duties will include:

  • 5* table and guest services

  • Managing a small household staff (2 housekeepers/chef/handyman)

  • Liaising with external contractors and local suppliers

  • Budgeting and stock control

  • Ensuring smooth running of the property

  • Running errands and assisting with restaurant reservations etc

  • Arranging household provisions – newspapers, flowers etc.

  • Stocking of preferred employer and household items

  • Wine cellar management

  • Ensure 24/7 readiness of property for Principal/Guest arrivals

Candidates should either live very locally or if residing at the property they must be happy to live long-term in a quiet, relatively rural area. Travel for 2-3 months to Dubai may be requested by the employer.

Travelling Chef ~ France/Middle East etc

A personal travelling chef is required to accompany our client and his wife to his various properties in France and the Middle East. The chef must be able to provide a high level of international cuisines. The client entertains guests on a fairly regular basis and the chef must be able to quickly adapt to last-minute changes to guest numbers and menus. Depending on the chef’s country of residence the client is willing to either be invoiced on a monthly basis or alternatively the chef will be contracted and salaried in the usual way.

Duties will include:

  • Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner 6 days per week for the two main Principals + visiting family/guests when required

  • Prepare informal and formal meals

  • Ensure the kitchens are meticulously cleaned and maintained

  • Prepare staff meals when necessary

  • General shopping

  • Menu planning with Principal and his wife

Requirements:

Live-in or Out Permanent Chef ~ Fayence region/Var - June 2025

An experienced chef is required for a new full-time role we have based in the Var region about 30 minutes from Cannes. The employer is seeking a highly skilled chef, preferably with some Michelin-starred restaurant experience or who can show recent training with a Michelin-starred chef - as well as also being able to provide a variety of other international cuisines. This client enjoys vibrant, contemporary cooking and is looking for a chef who has a real passion for modern and eclectic cuisines as well as being able to prepare the more classical menus.

He spends several months each year at his French property, including the summer season when he regularly invites family and guests to stay for short periods. The chef will be required to provide beautifully-presented and delicious cuisines; there will not be large groups of guests as this client generally enjoys a quiet and discreet lifestyle.

The chef will be working with a small team of household staff therefore it is important to the employer that his staff always treat each other with patience and respect; any disrespect of colleagues will not be tolerated. The Principal requires his staff to have calm, even temperaments and who enjoy working in a team.

This role offers on-site accommodation therefore the chef can either live locally (if their home is within 20-30mins travelling distance of the property) or be accommodated in the staff quarters currently being constructed at the property. Applicants must be happy to work and live in a  quiet, rural area.

Requirements:

  • Excellent experience in a similar role

  • Preferably some Michelin-starred restaurant experience

  • Enjoy preparing modern, eclectic cuisines, as well as classical menus

Travelling Butler/Manager ~ France/Middle East etc

An highly professional, energetic, organised and formally-trained butler is required for a long term role, travelling with our regular client and his wife to their various homes; usually spending 4 - 5 months in Paris and Cannes then transferring to the client’s other properties in the Middle East and elsewhere.  Duties will include all the usual traditional butler activities, formal and informal service, co-ordination and oversight of junior housekeeping and service staff, event management, guest and concierge services and if in a travelling role, the organisation of the homes in advance of the Principals arrival will be required.

Requirements:

  • Formally-trained butler with minimum of 3 years in a similar role

  • Fluent English/Conversational French

  • Excellent letters of reference

  • Recent criminal records check

  • Clean driving license

The Principal and his wife travel frequently therefore it must be understood that the role will not suit a butler who has a dependent family or personal commitments.

Live-In or Out Handyman ~ Fayence area ~ June 2025

A skilled and experienced handyman is required to work at a large newly renovated  rural property near Fayence in the Var region. The European employer will be in residence for several months each year and the house will have a small permanent staff of three live-in housekeepers, chef and butler/manager.

Duties will include:

  • General property maintenance, interior and exterior

  • Light garden maintenance ( garden contractor employed 2 days per week)

  • Cleaning of all terraces and driveway

  • Cleaning and maintenance of garden and terrace furniture

  • Pool care

  • Setting up and clearing away of pool areas morning and evening

  • Cleaning of villa vehicles

  • Maintaining villa machinery/tools - exterior and interior

  • Simple electrical and plumbing repairs

  • Assist housekeeping staff with heavier jobs, cleaning windows etc

Our client in Monaco is currently seeking two housekeepers to become an important part of an interior staff already employed at this large apartment property close to Fontvieille. The housekeepers will work under the direction of the Head Housekeeper and House Manager. 39hrs per week. Monaco CDI contract
Duties will include:
• 5* Housekeeping
• Laundry & Ironing
• Care/cleaning of designer wardrobe and valuable household linens
• Cleaning kitchen areas after chef has finished service

Family Office Accountant ~ Ramatuelle
Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified accountant who is familiar with the French taxation and salaries systems, running and regularly reviewing various expenditures/budgets and able to work in the client’s Ramatuelle office on a daily basis.
Duties will include:
• Organization of accounting procedures
• Accounting of company assets;
• Accounting for incoming fixed assets
• Accounting of business liabilities including accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Inventory accounting of stock items
• Petty Cash accounting with regular review of transactions in accordance with the requirements of the accounting firm's consultants to establish a balance sheet
• Knowledge of the principles of calculating social security contributions based on employee salaries
• Understanding of the French tax system, principles of VAT calculation, transfer of taxes to the relevant budgets.
• Annual inventory of companies' fixed assets and understanding of depreciation charges (based on communications with the accounting firm's consultants).

Resident Couple ~ Cannes  ON TRIAL
A very experienced domestic couple is required to handle the day-to-day running, maintenance and upkeep of a large luxury villa located close to Cannes. The busy international owners are generally in residence for 12-16 weeks per year, mainly in the high season months at which time a 5* level of service is required. Additional service and housekeeping staff are employed in the summer months however for the rest of the year the resident couple will be expected to clean and maintain the property including assisting with garden maintenance. Applicants must have extensive experience of running this type of high level, high service property with a strong record of providing discreet and seamless guest services.
Interior duties will include:
 5* Housekeeping and laundry
 Light, healthy cooking in absence of chef
 Prepare breakfast when required
 Inventory and stock control
 Occasional table service
 Laying of tables
 Flower arranging
 Overseeing seasonal teams

Family Chauffeur ~ Cap d'Ail
Our client is currently seeking a long term live-out family chauffeur to join a small team of staff who are employed at his luxury property on Cap d’Ail. The family usually use the property more intensively in the summer however they are also beginning to come more frequently to the property for short periods outside of the high season months. These family have an excellent record of keeping the same staff very long term with current staff at the property having been in place for 16 years with the previous driver being employed by this family for 14 years.
Duties will include:
• Driving Principal, his family and guests
• Run errands when necessary for family/chef/housekeeper etc when necessary
• Airport drop offs/pick ups
• Maintain and valet vehicles
• Organise vehicle servicing etc
Requirements:
• Several years’ experience as a professional chauffeur
• Accustomed to driving Rolls Royce/Bentley/Mercedes/Porsche
• Excellent local knowledge
• French driving licence (carte prof. or grande remise preferred)
• Speak a good level of both French and English
• Flexible approach, able to adjust to last minute changes of plan
• Prepared to work overtime when required
• Already live within easy travelling distance of Cap d’Ail

Head Housekeeper ~ Monaco  ON HOLD UNTIL MID-OCT

Our returning clients are seeking a highly experienced and professional Head Housekeeper to lead a team of junior housekeepers employed at the client’s large luxury property in Monaco. It is essential that candidates have proven experience heading up a top-level housekeeping team, either in private households or in 5* hotels.

Duties:

  • Lead and oversee a team of junior housekeepers

  • Provide housekeeper training where required

  • Prepare staff rotas

  • Prepare weekly cleaning schedules

  • Manage stock and inventory

  • Ensure meticulous level of daily housekeeping

  • Oversee impeccable presentation of interiors

  • Report maintenance issues to management

Our regular summer client is seeking a seasonal housekeeper to join a small team of housekeepers at a large luxury property in St Paul de Vence, working hours will generally be from around midday to 7pm/8pm  - 6 days per week.

Duties will include:

  • 5* Housekeeping

  • Assist with laundry person when required

  • Ability to provide guests and family with tea/coffee/drinks service would be an advantage

This role does not offer accommodation therefore applicants must already be living within easy travelling distance of St Paul de Vence. Candidates must speak English and have an EU passport or a current carte de sejour
