P/T HOUSEKEEPER/COOK - 25hrs PW - MONACO & LA TURBIE

We are currently seeking an experienced housekeeper who has some simple cooking skills for a part time role. This is a European family with two children who live weekdays in their two bedroom apartment in Monaco and spend weekends at their 5 bedroom villa in La Turbie.

5 days per week/ 5 hours per day. The housekeeper will provide a cleaning and laundry service each week for both properties.

5 days per week/ 5 hours per day, either 1pm-6pm or 2pm-7pm. The clients would like a simple meal prepared to put in the oven - or to reheat - at the end of the day when they return from work.

Duties will include:

• 5* Housekeeping

• Laundry & ironing

• Shopping

• Some simple family cooking

Requirements:

• Excellent prior experience

• Must live locally or ‘live-in’ at the La Turbie villa

Ideally this client is seeking a housekeeper who lives close to Monaco/La Turbie and can easily travel to either location each week. The client is able to provide either a scooter or a staff car for the housekeeper and if absolutely required, accommodation of a very small basement apartment is available, previously occupied for 15 years by the client’s domestic couple.

HOUSEKEEPER/COOK - JULY& AUG - CAP D'ANTIBES

An experienced housekeeper with good cooking skills is required to work all of July and August, possibly a little longer. The property is on Cap d’Antibes and the clients are an elderly couple who spend approximately 10 weeks per year in residence. Working 6 days per week.

Duties will include:

• General Housekeeping

• Laundry and ironing of personal items

• Evening turndown

• Food shopping

• Preparing and serving continental breakfast/lunch/dinner for 2

Requirements:

• Excellent previous experience in a similar role

• EU passport or French carte de sejour

• Organised and efficient with good time management

There is the possibility that the housekeeping part of this role could become long term ( CDI) after the summer months are completed.

LIVE-OUT CHEF ~ ST PAUL DE VENCE ~ EARLY JULY TO EARLY SEPT

An experienced personal chef is required to provide lunch and dinner 6 days per week for a family vacationing at their villa in St Paul de Vence. The chef will also provide simple staff meals for 5/6 staff also employed at the property. In general there will be 3-7 family members staying at the villa throughout the summer with some or all having lunch and/or supper, when guests are also staying with the family there will be a maximum of 12 at mealtimes, there are no children to cook for in this group. The family will also occasionally eat in local restaurants and will also have days when they are on their yacht which is berthed locally.

Duties:

• Provide lunch and dinner for 3-12 guests

• Prepare fresh, light Mediterranean cuisines

• Provide simple staff meals for 5/6 people

• Maintain a clean, working environment/fridges etc

• Work well within a small interior team

Requirements:

• Several years prior/similar experience

• Good knowledge of Mediterranean, fresh fish and seafood dishes

• Good BBQ knowledge

• Chef must live locally

• Driver with own vehicle

This role does not provide accommodation therefore the chef must live within easy travelling distance of St Paul de Vence and have a positive, flexible approach. Occasionally at weekends the chef might be asked to provide a brunch instead of a lunch but in general the chef will prepare lunch and dinner for the family.  It is essential that the chef speaks a good level of English and speaks enough French to be able to shop locally for produce etc.

Our returning European clients are currently seeking a proactive and energetic property gardien to care for their large rural property close to Brignoles. This role will not offer a CDI as the property is currently for sale therefore the property gardien should be willing to work on a 6 month repeating CDD or be able to legally invoice the client via a microenterprise or similar. It is unlikely that the property will sell quickly therefore it could be several months or possibly longer as the owners- who are in residence for several months each year – will wait for the right buyer. This employer is friendly and approachable with a family who are equally polite and considerate. Very nice independent accommodation located on the property is offered with this role.

Our regular client is currently seeking a family-style cook to prepare meals each day for the British couple and their small staff of interior workers. The cook will be replacing one of the family’s usual cooks who has had an accident. The cook will work 3.5 consecutive days per week – 8am to 10pm  - on rotation with the family’s other cook. The two older clients enjoy light, healthy meals along with occasional ‘comfort food’, they do not require ‘haute cuisine’ however beautifully cooked and nicely presented meals are expected. LIVE-IN GARDENER – DORDOGNE

Our British client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable gardener to help care for the grounds of his newly purchased chateau in the Dordogne. The client is also employing two people who have varying roles at the property including assisting, when possible, with the maintenance of 2-3 hectares of garden at the property, nearly all of which is laid to lawn with some topiary. The client also wants to establish a large walled kitchen garden/potager which the gardener will plant out and take care of.

It must be understood that this is not a head gardener role, this is a job for a hands-on gardener who during each week will have some assistance in providing maintenance of the grounds, however both assistants will also have other main duties providing interior/exterior maintenance and driving, therefore they will not always be at the disposal of the main gardener.

LIVE-IN CHAUFFEUR/HANDYMAN – BERGERAC

Our client is looking for a professional driver/handyman to work long term at his prestigious property near Bergerac. The driver will not only be expected to drive the Principal and his guests when required, the driver will also work alongside the estate’s caretaker/gardener in maintaining the extensive lawns, hedging, pool areas and performing any minor repairs etc that are required. This is not a role that would suit a CPO (close protection officer) unless they are prepared to also perform the daily handyman and gardening duties with the caretaker. The Principal will be living full-time at the property with the aim of leaving it as little as is possible therefore quite regularly he may not require the chauffeur to perform driving duties for several days/weeks at a time.

Duties will include:

Our returning client is seeking an experienced person to provide personal care to an elderly lady in Monaco who has been diagnosed with dementia. She currently has a team of 4 carers working on rotation, two nurses working 24/7 - 4 weeks on/4 weeks off - splitting the day and nights shifts throughout the 4 week period. One of the regular team who works alongside the team’s senior nurse will be on medical leave for an indeterminate period. The new nurse will be working mainly the night shifts to start with, giving the elderly lady time to become accustomed to a new team member.

Requirements:

• Must have prior nursing experience.

• Must have good knowledge and hands-on experience assisting patients with dementia.

• Must have excellent training and certification

• Must speak fluent English, some French preferable but not essential

• Preferably have a clean driving license

• Have EU passport allowing for visa-free travel to the UK and Caribbean

The nurses live-in - and also travels occasionally - during their 4-week rotation. The carer lives out when off duty - travel expenses paid if the person does not live in the 06/Italian frontier region.

He is now seeking a professional domestic couple who is able to provide eyar-round care for the interior and exterior of the property. The Principal (or his guests) will be in residence for 4-5 months each year, generally he is there for just a few days each visit with his guests using the property for one-week stays throughout this summer.

A local housekeeper is currently employed on a part-time basis, she will be available to assist the main housekeeper when there have been larger groups staying at the property. It is understood by the employer that here will be occasions when the assistance of local workers/contractors will be necessary especially for the heavier exterior jobs, in this situation the couple will liaise with the Principal’s PA. Accommodation of a 1-bedroom apartment on site is offered with this role.

Our British clients in Monaco have recently purchased a property in the new Mareterra complex and, although the property is newly constructed, this client will be making several interior structural changes before taking up residence - at a time yet to be scheduled but expecting to be mid- 2026. They are hoping to quickly find a reliable and professional person able to provide a wide range of services between now until delivery of the completed property -  and beyond.

Duties will include:

• Detailed oversight of the property development over the next 18 months

• Preparing regular progress and ‘snagging’ reports to the UK office and Principal’s PA

• Liaising where necessary with the local contractors

• Working to the instruction of the Principal

• Being the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Principal overseeing works and dealing with the French building company/contractors etc

• Keyholding of the property
