Permanent Live-In Housekeeper ~ St Tropez

Our client is seeking an experienced live-in housekeeper for his large luxury property in St Tropez. The previous housekeeper was employed for many years and is unfortunately now unable to continue because of an ongoing health issue therefore a long-term replacement is now being sought. The new housekeeper must have several years of luxury property housekeeping experience and be comfortable living alone on a large property. There are daily maintenance workers already employed on the exterior of the property and a live-out manager also lives in the area. There are two dogs to be taken care of, simple walking and feeding is all that is required as well as general daily housekeeping. Working 35 hrs per week when employer is not in residence; longer hours will be required when there are guests staying at the property and any overtime worked will be given as ‘time off in lieu’ when the property is not being used by the employer or his guests. Seasonal housekeepers are also employed in the high season months and the employer usually arrives with his own chef etc.

Simple accommodation of a basement level bedroom with own bathroom - located within the main house - is offered with this role. Applicants must speak a good level of English, some Tagalog would be an advantage but not essential.

Resident Couple ~ Vence

A very experienced domestic couple is required to handle the day-to-day running, maintenance and upkeep of a large luxury villa located close to Vence. The owners are generally in residence for 3 months per year, mainly in the high season at which time a 7* level of service is required; a seasonal chef and  additional service and housekeeping staff are employed in the summer months however for the rest of the year the resident couple will be expected to clean and maintain the property; a gardening company visits several times per week. Applicants must have extensive experience of running this type of high level, high service property with a strong record of providing discreet and seamless guest services.

Interior duties will include:

• 5* Housekeeping and laundry

• Light, healthy cooking in absence of chef

• Prepare breakfast when required

• Inventory and stock control

• Occasional table service

• Laying of tables

• Flower arranging

• Overseeing seasonal teams

• Liaising with suppliers and contractors

Exterior duties will include:

• Backing up contracted gardening company

• Mowing and general garden maintenance

• General handyman and minor maintenance

• Appliance and vehicle maintenance

• Pool maintenance

• Setting out and closing up of pool areas morning and evening

• Troubleshooting

• Preparing monthly reports for local property manager

Housekeeper/Cook ~ Mouans Sartoux

An experienced is being sought by a British client who has a 400m2 , 5 bedroom luxury property close to Mougins. This couple are in residence for 4-5 months each summer at which time longer working hours will be required, the overtime accrued will be taken as ‘time off in lieu’ during the off-season months. In the summer months when the property is busy with guests, the employers will employ a professional chef however when it is only the couple staying at the property, they will require the housekeeper to prepare very simple meals, salads, a quiche, or pasta dish etc. Especially in the out of season months, the employer would like the housekeeper to keep an eye on the general running of the property, informing them if a plumber or external contractor may be required. A garden maintenance and pool service are already employed at the property.

Duties will include:

• 5* Housekeeping

• Setting and clearing of meal tables

• Very simple meal preparation

• Shopping

• Setting up pool area with towels etc

Live-Out Chef ~ Vence ~ May 26 - June 1

Our clients are seeking a locally-based chef to work one week from Sunday 26th May to Saturday 1st June cooking for 4 adults, 2 younger children (3/7) plus 2 nannies.
This group of guests really love Mexican cuisine along with most other international cuisines - plus BBQ’s; they do like to try to eat healthily as often as possible.
This role does not offer accommodation therefore candidates must live within easy travelling distance of Vence, must speak a good level of English, have their own transport and be able to legally invoice the client for their work via a microentreprise or similar.

Summer Chef (poss. Permanent) ~ Cannes & Sardinia

Our client is looking for an experienced chef, skilled in providing high-quality presentation of various international cuisines including Italian, French and Mediterranean to work the coming summer months at his Cannes estate plus two weeks in July working at his property in Sardinia. This client also has homes Paris, USA, Cairo and Jeddah. If the chef is a good match for the client and his family and is interested in taking up a long term travelling chef role then after the first three months, the client will offer a permanent position to the chef.

Live-Out Seasonal Butler ~ St Paul de Vence ~ 2.5 months

Our returning client who has a large luxury property in St Paul de Vence is seeking an experienced and qualified butler to provide daily meal and guest services throughout their period of residency usually mid-June to the end of August, possibly early September. The property is fully staffed in the summer season with a resident couple in place all year round, a team of seasonal housekeepers plus the client’s personal chef who travels with them. Working 6 days per week on a CDD ( short term contract) with start and finish times yet to be decided.

Duties will include:

• Setting and clearing of tables at meal times

• Formal F&B service dependent on guests and occasion

• Guest service throughout the day

• Occasional driving

• Liaising with the chef on the daily menus

• Beverage stock control

• Table decoration, napkins, flowers etc

Requirements:

• Trained and qualified in Hospitality/Butler Service

• Experienced in formal service - including silver service

• Good knowledge of wines

• Able to set a beautiful table

Live-Out Chef ~ Vence ~ 26th May -1st June + Summer

Our clients are seeking a locally-based chef for several weeks in June and July and all of August - initially one week from Sunday 26th May to Saturday 1st June cooking for 4 adults, 2 younger children (3/7) plus 2 nannies. followed by a varying numbers of family/guests for several more weeks during June and July. In August the chef will be required to work 6 or 7 days per week for the full month.

Rotational Nurse/Carer ~ Monaco /Occasional travel
Our Monaco-based client is currently seeking a nurse/carer to assist the existing team of 3 nurse/carers in looking after an older lady suffering from dementia. There are going to be major changes to the current rotation of the existing team therefore a fourth team member will be required.

The 4 nurse/carers will be split into 2 teams of 2, with each team working 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. One of each team will work the nights, the other will work the days, with this being interchangeable on their next rotation or on a week by week basis. This role is 'live-in' only when the nurses are working their rotation.
This job is mainly based in Monaco however there will be occasional trips to the UK for social engagements, family events, Royal Ascot etc., plus the family spend November to February each year in the Caribbean therefore applicants must be willing to fly to the various countries when it is their rotation period. Applicants do not have to be located in the Monaco region - if located elsewhere in France travel expenses will be paid for each rotation.

Live-Out Summer Chef ~ Cannes~ April to Oct POSITION NOW FILLED

A personal chef who has extensive knowledge and experience in traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine is required to work a 6 month contract in a large luxury villa in Cannes this summer. This client is passionate about Japanese cuisine and his tastes extend far beyond the usual requests for sushi, sashimi, tempura etc therefore his chef must be very confident in, and accustomed to, preparing Japanese menus. Other cuisines will also be required however chefs without the solid experience in Japanese cuisine cannot be considered for this role.

This position does not offer accommodation therefore applicants must live within easy travelling distance of Cannes and have their own transport. Working 6 days per week, the role offers a French CDD contract, alternatively the client can consider chefs who are able to legally invoice via a micro-entreprise or similar entity.

The chef will be required to start in April, (date still to be decided) and will finish their contract in October, (date still to be decided).

Laundry/Housekeeper ~ Monaco POSITION NOW FILLED

Our Monaco-based client is currently seeking an experienced person to provide mainly laundry services plus assisting the small team of housekeepers who work year-round at the property. This role will initially be for a 6 month period with the possibility that the role could become permanent. Working 5 days/39hrs per week on a Monaco CDD contract, this may sometimes include working at weekends with days off being taken during the week.

Duties will include:

• Providing excellent and knowledgeable laundry services

• Assisting the housekeeping team where necessary

• Possibility of housekeeping duties in a separate Monaco apartment

Requirements:

• Proven experience providing high quality laundry service

• Excellent housekeeping skills and experience

English & German-speaking Domestic Couple ~ Switzerland

An experienced domestic couple are required to work in a large luxury chalet in Switzerland.  At least one of the couple must speak communicative German and both should speak conversational English. The owners of the property are generally in residence from mid-December to early April each year. In the winter season when employers are in residence, the property is fully staffed with housekeepers, butler and chef.

Duties for the couple will include:

• 5* housekeeping

• Overall maintenance and cleaning of the property

• Occasional informal table service

• Preparing simple breakfasts if required

• Pool and spa maintenance

• Assist with heavier housekeeping duties

• Driving

• Snow clearing

• Liaising with suppliers and technicians

• Daily monitoring of all household systems

• Liaising with Principal’s off-site manager

Requirements:

• Excellent relevant prior experience

• Both of the couple must speak conversational English

• One of the couple must speak communicative German

A one bedroom apartment is offered as accommodation with this role. Domestic Couple ~ Agay POSITION NOW FILLED

An experienced domestic couple are required to look after a beautiful waterfront property located in a quiet coastal region between Cannes and St Raphael. The UK-based employers are in residence at the 6 bedroom villa for approximately 4 months throughout each year, along with occasional visiting guests and large extended family. During busy periods they employ a second housekeeper to assist with the laying and clearing of tables, cleaning and laundry etc.

Duties will include:

• Regular family cooking

• Assist the wife of the principal with meal preparation

• Table setting/clearing and informal service

Live-Out Handyman/Gardener Assistant ~ St Tropez POSITION NOW FILLED

Our returning client is looking to fill a newly created handyman/garden assistant role at his large property in the Canebiers area of St Tropez. Applicants must live locally as accommodation cannot be offered with this role. The handyman will work under the direction of the Property Manager and full-time gardener. Prior gardening experience would be an advantage though not essential as long as the applicant is willing to assist with mowing, weeding etc when available. The main focus of this role is on the handyman duties however when not actively engaged in maintenance work on the property, the handyman will be expected to assist the gardening team.
