PROPERTY MANAGER - MOUGINS

Our British-based client is currently seeking an experienced English and French-speaking property manager to oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of a prestigious private estate in Mougins, South of France.

Duties will include:

•             Overall responsibility for smooth operation of the estate.

•             Supervision and coordination of household staff, gardeners, maintenance personnel and contractors.

•             Management of property maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance programmes.

•             Preparation and monitoring of household and estate budgets.

•             Procurement and purchasing of supplies and services.

•             Liaison with local authorities, service providers and professional advisers.

•             Oversight of security systems and estate safety procedures.

•             Management of guest arrivals and special events.

•             Vehicle, equipment and inventory management.                 

•             Regular reporting to two Principals.

•             Ensure full compliances with various applicable French laws and regulations

Requirements: 

•             Minimum 5 years' experience managing a luxury private residence or estate.

PERMANENT CHEF – CANNES UNDER OFFER

Our European client is currently seeking a very good chef to become part of their long-term staff, working at the clients luxury villa in Cannes. The clients can be in residence for several weeks at a time and they also will travel frequently for several weeks. During their periods of residence they require the chef to prepare lunch and dinner for usually 2 guests; there will also be busier periods of entertaining, usually several days in a row when there will be family/guests visiting and the numbers to cook for will increase. During these busy periods the chef will be required to also prepare breakfasts. The Principals have fairly regular meal times, lunch being at 12.30-13.00 and dinner being 18.30-19.00.

Our European client is currently seeking a highly professional, energetic and enthusiastic formal butler to join their household and work on a rotating shift basis - one week working days and the next week evenings, generally finishing at around 11pm. It is essential that applicants have received extensive formal butler training. 

This is not a role for someone who has simply learnt a high level of table service as F&B service is only one of an extensive list of skills that are essential in any formal butler role. This role does not offer accommodation therefore candidates must already live close to Monaco or be willing and able to relocate to the Nice/Monaco area.

VILLA CHEF - ST PAUL DE VENCE - 1 - 31 JULY​ POSITION NOW FILLED

An experienced personal chef is required to provide lunch and dinner 7 days per week for this 4 week booking, cooking for a family vacationing at their villa in St Paul de Vence. The chef will also provide simple staff meals for 5/6 staff also employed at the property. In general there will be 3-7 family members staying at the villa throughout the booking period with some or all having lunch and/or supper, when guests are also staying with the family there will be a maximum of 12 at mealtimes, there are no children to cook for in this group. If possible the chef should be able to invoice the client for this summer booking. The family will be leaving on their yacht on 22nd July however the chef will still be booked up until the end of the month.

Duties:

•             Provide lunch and dinner for 3-12 guests

•             Prepare fresh, light Mediterranean and Asian cuisines

•             Provide simple staff meals for 5/6 people

•             Maintain a clean, working environment/fridges etc

•             Work well within a small interior team

GENERAL MANAGER – SMALL LUXURY HOTEL – NEAR LIMOGES POSITION NOW FILLED

Our American client is currently seeking a General Manager for a ‘one-of-a-kind’, ultra-luxury small chateau hotel property located near Limoges. There are 7 rooms/suites within the actual chateau along with several large luxury cottages located throughout an extensive estate. Also on site is a highly respected restaurant. This role could suit either a resort manager who is accustomed to leading teams of up to 50 staff and now feels ready to step into a GM role; alternatively it could suit a seasoned hotel manager who is happy to relocate to a very beautiful, rural area and take over the running of this extraordinary property. The clients would also consider a couple for this role with one of the couple being the General Manager and the other working as part of an interior department, FOH or in restauration/hospitality.

Duties will include to:

  • Effectively manage the relationship between the owners of the property and the hotel group

  • Maintain the hotels position as one on the best-in-class hotel in France, providing highly personalized service, wellness, culinary and high-end events, weddings,  private gatherings etc

  • Oversee the development of the strategy and business plan for the hotel.

Our British client is seeking an experienced high-level chef to join his long-term chef, cooking for a variety of UHNW guests throughout the summer season, in a large luxury property in Aix en Provence. The chef must have excellent experience in restaurants and/or hotels, have exquisite plating skills and good interpersonal/communication skills with both colleagues and guests. The chef will work on rotation with the client's other chef, it is essential that these two chefs develop a good working relationship.

This client usually books a chef who is able to legally invoice monthly for the booking period therefore  a chef with a microenterprise or similar entity is preferred.

The chef should be a driver and preferably have their own transport and as the villa location is quite rural, accommodation is provided.

Our Monaco-based client is currently seeking a qualified nurse/or carer to become part of a team who look after an older lady suffering from dementia.

The nurses work in 2/3 teams of 2 nurses/carers with each team working 4 weeks on/4 weeks off with a mixture of day and night shifts. This role is 'live-in' only when the nurses are working their rotation. If the new nurse has an EU passport but does not live in the region around Monaco then their return flights will be arranged for the start and finish of each rotation.

This job is mainly based in Monaco however there will be occasional trips to the UK for social engagements, family events, Royal Ascot, the family yacht etc., plus the family spend November to March each year at their property in the Caribbean, therefore applicants must be willing to fly to the various locations when it is their rotation period.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laundress to manage the full lifecycle of garment care within a prestigious private household; this is not simply a role which requires treatment of usual household laundry and ironing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling luxury fabrics, couture garments, and delicate items, ensuring impeccable presentation and longevity. This role requires most of the Monaco household staff to relocate to the family chalet in Gstaad for a few weeks each January/February & August.

Duties will include:

Garment Care & Laundry Management

•             Perform daily laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, steaming, and folding

•             Manage hand-washing and specialized care for delicate fabrics (silk, cashmere, lace, etc.)

•             Handle couture, bespoke, and designer garments with utmost care

Wardrobe Maintenance

•             Maintain wardrobes in pristine condition, including organization and seasonal rotation

•             Conduct regular inspections for damage, wear, or stains and take appropriate action

BUTLER - MONACO/SWITZERLAND & TRAVEL ON TRIAL

Our returning client is currently seeking a highly professional, energetic and enthusiastic butler to join an interior team in a Monaco property. An experienced and highly professional butler is already employed by the family and the incoming butler will share the workload, on a rotational basis, with the current butler. This role does not offer accommodation therefore candidates must already live close to Monaco or be willing and able to quickly relocate to the Nice/Monaco area.

 

Duties will include:

  • Table arrangements and decoration

  • Table service

  • Daily cleaning tasks as required

  • Flower decorations and arrangements

  • Inventories of wine cellars, chinaware, glassware, silverware, linen

  • Private assistance and projects as requested by the Principals

  • Shoe-shining

AN experienced domestic couple is required to assist in the care of a large property located close to La Colle. The owners and their teenage children are in residence for approximately 5 months per year at which time they employ extra seasonal staff. The male of the couple will maintain the exterior of the property and provide garden maintenance alongside a contracted gardening company. GARDIEN/PET CARER - CHATEAUNEUF DE GRASSE POSITION NOW FILLED

Our client is currently seeking an experienced multi-skilled caretaker/pet carer to look after his secondary property of 240m2 in Chateauneuf de Grasse. It is essential that the gardien is an animal-lover as they will be required to look after the employer's 2 dogs and 2 cats. Working 5.5 days per week, Monday – Saturday mornings. In the owner’s absence, weekend care is required, with a weekend off in lieu. The gardien will be accommodated in their own ensuite bedroom in the main body of the house.

Duties will include:

•       Daily care of the 2 medium-sized gentle dogs and 2 cats

•       Assist gardening contractor with keeping garden maintained/terraces tidy and pots watered

•       Tidying home after weekly summer visits and assisting housekeeper where necessary

HOUSEKEEPER - MONACO/EZE SUR MER POSITION NOW FILLED
Our British client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper to maintain two properties in Eze and Monaco to a 5* standard,  the housekeeper will be working under the supervision of the House Manager. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, proactive and a strong team player with very high levels of discretion and a good level of English.
This role offers a Monaco contract therefore legally, candidates must already be living in the Alpes Maritimes region. Working 5 days per week - 39 hr per week maximum - starting at 9.30 each morning, finishing time between 4pm – 6pm depending on completion of weekly duties. Flexibility is required as during periods when the employer is in residence the housekeeper may be required to work several days without a day off and the overtime worked will be given as time off ‘in lieu’ the following week. Applicants should drive and have their own transport.
The housekeeper will provide care for two properties, ensuring every room is beautifully maintained and presented. This includes deep cleaning, making beds, cleaning of terraces etc, as well as the careful maintenance of high-end materials such as delicate fabrics, and specialised finishes.
