Family Cook ~ Cannes ~ 9th July to 2nd August POSITION NOW FILLED
A family cook experienced in preparing a variety of cuisines is required to provide 3 meal per day/6(poss.7) days per week for a French family staying in a luxury villa in Cannes. There will be approximately 9 guests ( including 5 children) and the client likes an informal family-style level of cuisine. Two housekeeper/servers are also being employed to assist the chef at meals times. The cook must live locally and have their own transport as accommodation is not offered with this role - if a resident in France the chef must be able to invoice the client via a microenterprise or similar entity as this role does not offer a French contract
Salary: €250 per day

Live-In Private Chef ~ St Tropez ~ 28th June to 31st August POSITION NOW FILLED
An experienced and versatile chef with excellent presentation skills is required to cook for a Swiss client and his small group of guests (3 or 4 adults) at a St Tropez villa from 28th June until 31st August. This client likes light, healthy Mediterranean/Italian cuisines, almost vegetarian and in a style he describes as ‘Spa Food’.
Due to the Covid 19 situation the chef will be expected to have provisions delivered to the villa rather than visiting local markets, shops etc. This client would like if possible to have the chef available 7/7 throughout the two months period. Accommodation of an en-suite bedroom in the villa is provided at the property.
The chef should have a relaxed and flexible approach, excellent social skills with an ability to work in a small household team and adapt to any change of plan or menu with ease and professionalism. Housekeepers and a daily server will be employed at the villa however the chef is expected to keep his own work area clean and tidy and be prepared to assist with loading dishwashers etc if required.

Cook/Housekeeper ~ Plascassier/Valbonne ~ ASAP to 30th June POSITION NOW FILLED
An experienced cook is required to prepare three meals per day for a gentleman and his occasional guests. The cook must be willing and able to assist the current housekeeper. Starting immediately until end of June.
Candidates must be able to invoice the client via a microenterprise, must also have their own transport and must speak fluent English. Approximately 10 hrs per day, 5 or 6 days per week.
Salary: €23 brut/gross per hr neg

Live-Out Italian Chef~ Cap d'Antibes ~ 1st June to 15th Sept POSITION NOW FILLED
A youthful, energetic Italian chef is required to work in a large luxury villa on Cap d’Antibes. The villa has a well-established interior team and there will be assistance for the chef in the kitchen if required. This position does not offer accommodation therefore the chef must live within easy travelling distance of Antibes and have their own transport. Candidates must be able to speak good English and French.

Live-in Chef ~ July & August ~ St Tropez POSITION NOW FILLED
An experienced chef who is able to prepare fresh, healthy, balanced meals on a daily basis for a family of four and their visiting guests. The chef must be able to prepare a higher level of cuisine for dinner parties and guest lunches when required. Guest numbers will vary during the two-month period but for the majority of the period there will only be 4 – 6 people present at the property. The client is looking for a chef who is organised, who works very cleanly and who can be versatile with the types of cuisine they can offer. The family enjoy classical French, Asian and Mediterranean-style cuisine. The property has two kitchens with the professional kitchen being very well-equipped and well-planned. A bedroom with en-suite bathroom is available as accommodation if required. Applicants must be able to drive and speak fluent English. 6 days per week.

Cook/Manager ~ Salon de Provence ON HOLD
Our client is seeking an experienced Cook/Manager who can efficiently oversee the day-to day running operations of the home and cook for a small number of guests. The property is located close to Salon de Provence and the Principal is in residence approximately 4 months each year, usually outside of the high season months. This is a semi-formal household maintaining very high standards. Applicants should have good organisational and interpersonal skills and be an excellent cook. They should enjoy maintaining and developing household manuals and checklists that will support a well-organized home. The position requires a high energy individual with an excellent work ethic who takes pride in their work.
• Supervise housekeeping staff
• Work with other staff and services to maintain household and property standards
• Cooking family-style meals for up to six people
• Be comfortable assisting the Principal in the kitchen
• Supervise caterers and service team
• Manage food provisioning with an emphasis on seasonal and local products
• Manage wine cellar
• Manage household inventories
• Oversee household security and ensure that protocols are maintained by staff

Permanent Personal Chef ~ Ibiza & Switzerland ON HOLD
A client with a newly acquired holiday home on the island of Ibiza, is looking to recruit an exceptional English-speaking chef to work initially in Ibiza then after the summer season, the chef will relocate to the client’s main home just outside Zurich in Switzerland, there may also be occasion for some international travel. This young family are looking for a personable chef who has a hands-on approach, a cheerful character and good communication skills, someone able to deal with last minute changes calmly and efficiently and who will exhibit exceptional attention to detail and time management.
Responsible for the daily operations and running of the kitchen
Cooking high quality, nutritious meals for the principals, their family, guests and household staff.
Prepare food (in advance) for when the family travel by private jet
Adhering to all dietary requirements and assisting with supplement routine
Shopping for and ordering food in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner
Maintaining exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards in kitchens
Responsible for ordering cleaning products and additionally kitchen stock
Working with the house management to ensure the house schedule is clear
Overseeing and engaging in the general upkeep of the kitchen, ensuring maintenance jobs are logged, and overseeing kitchen contractors when necessary
Cooking for private dinner parties for up to 30 guests
Work with the Principals and their admin team to plan menus
Carry out other duties as requested by the Principal or senior staff
Work with the Private Office where applicable to discuss arrangements relating to the kitchen, the household and family
Prepare meals for the on-duty staff.
