LIVE-IN CHEF - BIARRITZ - 2-25 MARCH
A private family is seeking an experienced VIP-level Private Chef for a short-term assignment at a family villa in Biarritz. The chef will be responsible for daily family meals and curated dinner events for invited guests in a discreet, luxury villa environment requiring refined culinary expertise. Accommodation can be arranged for a chef living outside the area and all travel expenses will be paid. Ability to invoice the client is preferred although a CDD can be arranged if necessary.
Duties will include:
• Plan and prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a private family.
• Design and execute refined multi-course dinners for invited guests.
• Develop seasonal, high-quality menus tailored to preferences and dietary requirements.
• Source premium ingredients (locally in France when appropriate).
• Ensure impeccable presentation and restaurant-level plating.
• Maintain kitchen organization, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Coordinate with household staff to ensure seamless service during dinners.
• Manage provisioning and kitchen budgeting for the engagement period.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Private Chef or Chef/Sous-Chef in fine-dining restaurants.
• Background in high-end private events and VIP service.
• Ability to deliver restaurant quality under private residence conditions.
• Discretion, professionalism, and experience working with high net worth families.
• Strong knowledge of European cuisine.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a private household environment
• Spoken English is preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Calm under pressure
• Absolute discretion

PART-TIME VILLA COOK – ST TROPEZ – APRIL to SEPT
This client is seeking a locally-based freelance cook who is able to work on-site at their family villa ( centre of St Tropez), two days per week cooking for the principal and guests - plus preparing a variety of dishes that can be kept in the fridge and eaten throughout the week.

CHEF/BUTLER DOMESTIC COUPLE – VALLAURIS
Our client is currently seeking a domestic couple for their property in Vallauris/Super Cannes. This is a relatively rare opportunity as unusually one of the couple should be a good chef with the other of the couple providing excellent butler/guest service skills. The client’s current couple are retiring after having been in situ for the last 20 years. The female of this current couple provides top level cuisines and also oversees the general housekeeping. The male of the current couple is a top level maitre d’hotel and along with providing excellent guest services and some chauffeuring, he also oversees the property’s maintenance. This client is open to having the male provide the chef services.
