PRIVATE CHEF - MONACO

Our client, who is currently relocating to Monaco from Dubai, is seeking a personal chef who is skilled in Persian and Mediterranean cuisines and who, most importantly, is accustomed to cooking for someone with Type 1 diabetes.

·       Cuisine preference: Healthy, Mediterranean, and Persian cuisine, with Persian being the principal’s preference

·       Responsible for menu planning and coordinating grocery shopping with the principal’s driver

·       Cooking for one to three people on a daily basis, with occasional small gatherings

·       The principal follows a very clean and healthy diet and has Type 1 diabetes

·       It is essential the chef has strong experience in preparing healthy, sugar-free meals, including sauces and ingredients

·       Use of healthy oils and high-quality ingredients is required

·       Organic ingredients are strongly preferred, and the chef should be comfortable sourcing these

·       English language essential

Requirements:

·       Excellent letters of reference and plating portfolio

·       A good knowledge of Persian cuisine, this is not the same as general Middle Eastern cuisines

·       In-depth knowledge of providing meals for a Type 1 diabetic

·       Live within easy travelling distance of Monaco

·       Hold an EU passport of have French carte de sejour

KOSHER CHEF - MONACO

We are currently seeking a good Kosher chef for a family of five living in Monaco. In general only evening meals will be required for the family, 5 or 6 days per week. The parents usually eat a little more health-consciously than the children, therefore it is usual that the chef will provide two separate evening meals for the family. The chef will also prepare a Shabbat supper for 30 guests every second Friday. It is imperative that the chef is accustomed to preparing kosher meals and equally important that the kitchen areas are kept meticulously clean and the chef will be expected to clean and clear the kitchen completely after each meal.

PART-TIME VILLA COOK – ST TROPEZ – APRIL to SEPT

This client is seeking a locally-based freelance cook who is able to work on-site at their family villa ( centre of St Tropez), two days per week cooking for the principal and guests - plus preparing a variety of dishes that can be kept in the fridge and eaten throughout the week.

Requirements:

  • Excellent cook with interesting repertoire

  • Excellent references

  • Based in or around St Tropez

  • Fluent English essential

  • Ability to invoice the client

CHEF/BUTLER DOMESTIC COUPLE – VALLAURIS

Our client is currently seeking a domestic couple for their property in Vallauris/Super Cannes. This is a relatively rare opportunity as unusually one of the couple should be a good chef with the other of the couple providing excellent butler/guest service skills. The client’s current couple are retiring after having been in situ for the last 20 years. The female of this current couple provides top level cuisines and also oversees the general housekeeping. The male of the current couple is a top level maitre d’hotel and along with providing excellent guest services and some chauffeuring, he also oversees the property’s maintenance. This client is open to having the male provide the chef services.

Duties will include

  • High level cooking

  • 5* table and guest services

  • Oversight of housekeeping

  • Oversight of general property maintenance

  • Preparation of household accounts

  • Stock control and inventory

  • Occasional chauffeuring when available

Requirements

  • Excellent similar prior experience

  • Excellent chef and butler experience

  • Excellent letters of reference

  • EU passport or French residency essential

  • Fluent English plus one of the couple must speak a good conversational level

  • Clean driving licenses for both of the couple

The employers offer with this role a staff apartment of approx. 80 sqm with a door leading onto the villa grounds of 1 hectare.
