LIVE-IN REGISTERED NURSE - MALLORCA & ST BART'S

Our client is seeking a live-in registered nurse to care for her husband who has ALS, complete paralysis and is dependent on a ventilator. The role involves daily care within the patient’s home environments in Palma de Mallorca/Spain and St Bart's/Caribbean, where he and his wife reside for about 6 months per location each year. It is essential that applicants are highly experienced in caring for this type of patient/illness.

Requirements:

Registered nursing qualifications
Experience with ventilators and ALS neurological conditions
Extensive knowledge in care of a patient on a permanent ventilator with tracheostomy
Experience caring for a fully paralysed patient
Good English communication skills
Patient and dedicated
Mature and experienced in following the pathway of a difficult illness

This client has a preference for a male nurse however applications from highly experienced senior female candidates will also be considered. Private accommodation which includes own bedroom/bathroom and kitchen area is offered with this role.

Salary: €80k per annum neg.

BUTLER - MONACO/SWITZERLAND & TRAVEL

Our returning client is currently seeking a highly professional, energetic and enthusiastic butler to join an interior team in a Monaco property. An experienced and highly professional butler is already employed by the family and the incoming butler will share the workload, on a rotational basis, with the current butler. This role does not offer accommodation therefore candidates must already live close to Monaco or be willing and able to quickly relocate to the Nice/Monaco area.

Duties will include:

Table arrangements and decoration
Table service
Daily cleaning tasks as required
Flower decorations and arrangements
Inventories of wine cellars, chinaware, glassware, silverware, linen
Private assistance and projects as requested by the Principals
Shoe-shining
Ensuring that all requests from the Principals are fulfilled in a timely manner
Travel with the Principals when required, to the Properties in Switzerland

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, working for an UHNW family, or in luxury yachting or in luxury hotels.
Graduation from a recognised European Butler School or equivalent professional training.
Perfectly fluent in English
Spoken French and/or German would also be an asset but not essential
Excellent table service skills
Excellent organization skills
Excellent presentation
Trustworthy, calm, discrete
Able to work independently and under pressure
Non-smoker
Flexibility and availability as this role involves some travelling

GARDIEN/PET CARER - CHATEAUNEUF DE GRASSE

Our client is currently seeking an experienced multi-skilled caretaker/pet carer to look after his secondary property of 240m2 in Chateauneuf de Grasse. It is essential that the gardien is an animal-lover as they will be required to look after the employer's 2 dogs and 2 cats. Working 5.5 days per week, Monday – Saturday mornings. In the owner’s absence, weekend care is required, with a weekend off in lieu. The gardien will be accommodated in their own ensuite bedroom in the main body of the house.

Duties will include:

• Daily care of the 2 medium-sized gentle dogs and 2 cats

• Assist gardening contractor with keeping garden maintained/terraces tidy and pots watered

• Tidying home after weekly summer visits and assisting housekeeper where necessary

• Minor household maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Excellent previous similar experience

• Good garden/house maintenance skills

• Genuinely enjoys being with animals - essential

• Driving license essential

• Fluent English, spoken Hindi or Sinhala an advantage

LIVE-IN/OUT VILLA STEWARD/ESS - FAYENCE - JUNE/JULY/AUG

An experienced villa stewardess/housekeeper is required to join a friendly and busy team in a large luxury rural property in Fayence in the Var region of France approximately 30 minutes from Cannes. 40hrs/6 days per week with paid overtime.

Duties will include:

Requirements:

FREELANCE DRIVER - ST TROPEZ - MID JUNE -MID SEPTPOSITION NOW FILLED

This booking request covers a period of three months, six days per week, approximately 10 hrs per day, usually working one of two shifts, either 11am - 8pm or 3pm - 1am depending on the client's plans. These plans will be conveyed to the driver the day before, or earlier if the Principal's timetable has already been decided.

Flexibility is essential in this role as the driver’s weekly day off will be changeable dependent on the needs of the client and his guests. Additionally applicants must have the ability to legally invoice the client each month for completed work. Accommodation can be offered with this role and during periods when the Principal is in residence staff meals are provided, when he is not in residence, all staff prepare their own meals.

SEASONAL BUTLER - ST TROPEZ POSITION NOW FILLED

Our returning client is seeking an experienced, freelance butler to join a small team of interior staff at his luxury property in St Tropez. It is essential that the butler is able to work on a freelance basis, invoicing the client each month.

In both May and September (approximately eight weeks), the Butler will work only weekends, depending on when the owner is present. This results in an average of 3-4 working days per week, with the remaining days free. From June until the end of August, the schedule becomes seven days a week working approximately 10hrs per day.

ROTATIONAL NURSE/CARER - MONACO/YACHT/CARIBBEAN & OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO UK POSITION NOW FILLED

Our Monaco-based client is currently seeking a qualified nurse/carer to become part of a team of 4 looking after an older lady with dementia.

The 4 nurse/carers work in 2 teams of 2, with each team working 4 weeks on/4 weeks off. One of each team will work the nights, the other will work the days, with this being alternated on a 2 week by 2 week basis. This role is 'live-in' only when the nurses are working their rotation. If the new nurse has an EU passport but does not live in the region around Monaco then their return flights/travel costs will be covered for the start and finish of each rotation.

This job is mainly based in Monaco however there will be occasional trips to the UK for social engagements, family events, Royal Ascot, the family yacht etc., plus the family spend November to March each year at their property in the Caribbean, therefore applicants must be willing to fly to the various locations when it is their rotation period.

LIVE-OUT BUTLER/MANAGER – MONACO AREA POSITION NOW FILLED

Our client is currently seeking an experienced butler/house manager for their 8 bedroom villa property close to Monaco. A small year round staff are already employed to maintain the property with seasonal staff being employed during the few months that the employer and family are in residence. This family are very nice, treat all their staff well and keep their household staff very long term. Ideally they would like their new butler/manager to be able to take up this new role in early September.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience running a similar size property
Excellent butler service experience
Live within easy travelling distance of the property
Speaks fluent English and French
Clean driving license
Excellent references
EU passport or French carte de sejour

Salary: €5k net per month (poss. neg.)

Start date: Early Sept preferred
