LIVE-IN CHAUFFEUR/HANDYMAN – BERGERAC

Our client is looking for a professional driver/handyman to work long term at his prestigious property near Bergerac. The driver will not only be expected to drive the Principal and his guests when required, the driver will also work alongside the estate’s caretaker/gardener in maintaining the extensive lawns, hedging, pool areas and performing any minor repairs etc that are required. This is not a role that would suit a CPO (close protection officer) unless they are prepared to also perform the daily handyman and gardening duties with the caretaker. The Principal will be living full-time at the property with the aim of leaving it as little as is possible therefore quite regularly he may not require the chauffeur to perform driving duties for several days/weeks at a time.

Duties will include:

  • Driving of Principal and guests

  • Airport runs/shopping/errands

  • Care, valeting and maintenance of property vehicles

  • Hands-on household and garden maintenance

  • Assist caretaker in care of pool, tennis and helipad areas

Requirements:

  • Excellent prior relevant experience

  • Excellent references

  • Clean Driving licence

  • Accustomed to driving luxury model vehicles

  • Knowledge in providing simple maintenance of luxury vehicles

  • Ability to work ‘hands-on’ performing household and exterior maintenance

  • Works well in a team

  • Speaks fluent English, some French an advantage

  • EU passport holder or long-term carte de sejour

Accommodation either on the property or in the local village is offered with this role.

Salary: €3.5k net per month negotiable

​​​​​TEMPORARY ELDERLY CARE NURSE - MONACO - ASAP POSITION NOW FILLED

Our returning client is seeking an experienced person to provide personal care to an elderly lady in Monaco who has been diagnosed with dementia. She currently has a team of 4 carers working on rotation, two nurses working 24/7 - 4 weeks on/4 weeks off - splitting the day and nights shifts throughout the 4 week period. One of the regular team who works alongside the team’s senior nurse will be on medical leave for an indeterminate period. The new nurse will be working mainly the night shifts to start with, giving the elderly lady time to become accustomed to a new team member.

Requirements:

  • Must have prior nursing experience.

  • Must have good knowledge and hands-on experience assisting patients with dementia.

  • Must have excellent training and certification

  • Must speak fluent English, some French preferable but not essential

  • Preferably have a clean driving license

  • Have EU passport allowing for visa-free travel to the UK and Caribbean

The nurses live-in - and also travels occasionally - during their 4-week rotation. The carer lives out when off duty - travel expenses paid if the person does not live in the 06/Italian frontier region.

If not located in the Alpes Maritimes area the nurse will preferably have a microenterprise to invoice the client, at least for the first few months.

Salary: €3.8k net pm (neg)

LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT VILLA STEWARDESS - ST MAXIME - JUNE TO SEPT ON HOLD

Our American client is currently seeking a professional and highly experienced villa stewardess to assist his resident team with the summer season guests and visiting family. This property is extremely busy during some of the high season months. Working 40hrs/6 days per week with any overtime worked given as ‘time off in lieu’ during the quieter weeks.

The housekeeping and table service duties are split approximately 60% housekeeping/40% table and guest service therefore candidates must have extensive experience working in both types of roles.

Duties will include:

  • 5*Housekeeping

  • Laundry & Ironing

  • Table Service

Requirements:

  • Excellent previous professional housekeeping and service experience

  • Excellent references

  • A good level of spoken English

  • A warm flexible approach

  • Works well in a team

Accommodation is offered with this role if required. Exact start date is yet to be decided but it will be early June finishing mid-September.

Salary: €3k net per month
