Wardrobe Manager/Carer ~ Northern Europe ON HOLD
A highly experienced wardrobe manager is required to work in a private international family environment. This young informal family are seeking a wardrobe manager/carer who can oversee, organise, launder hands-on, inventory and maintain their extensive collection of designer clothing and household linens. Applicants must have experience and knowledge in the care and maintenance of haute couture items.
Within the household there are two adults and two young children who generate an extensive amount of weekly laundry and ironing and this role might suit a newly-trained valet, maid or butler who is interested in specialising in the care of beautiful and valuable designer clothes. This person will also be expected assist the family’s House Manager/Butler during occasional catered events at the 500m2 apartment; setting out platters, polishing tableware, cleaning counters, helping generally in the kitchen area etc.
An independent apartment is offered with this role and the working hours will be 120hrs per month; generally 30 hours (3 days) per week however some weeks will be quieter if the family is travelling and some weeks will be busier therefore some flexibility will be expected. Overtime will paid for any hours worked in excess of 120 hrs per month. Candidates must speak fluent English and preferably hold a European passport. The exact location of the family home will be given on application.
Salary: €3.2k net pm approx.

Head Butler ~ Monaco POSITION NOW FILLED
An experienced and formally trained Head Butler is required to work for a busy young family in Monaco. Professional chefs are already employed by this client however it is preferable that the Head Butler is also able to prepare light meals and snacks being able to cover for a chef in an emergency situation or to simply prepare a quick meal for the family if required.
This role does not offer accommodation therefore, as the butler is expected to interview and possibly begin a trial this week, all candidates must already live close to Monaco and must speak fluent English and preferably some conversational French. There will be some occasional travel each year with the Principal, generally for a few weeks two or three times per year therefore applicants must be free to travel, possibly at short notice, when necessary.
The Head Butler must possess an air of confidence, have a smooth and polished approach to the running of the service department, be able to work to a high level of formality when required and be happy to work alongside the house manager and head housekeeper already employed at the property. Please note: Applicants must presently be residing on the Cote d’Azur.
Salary: €5k net pm
