TRAVELLING BUTLER - MONACO-BASED CDI

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Travelling Butler to provide dedicated day-to-day support to the Principal, as well as accompanying him on both domestic and international travel.

He requires an exceptionally experienced Senior Butler; the successful candidate will be versatile, hands-on and naturally attentive, with an ability to anticipate the Principal’s needs and ensure that every detail is taken care of. The candidate should be comfortable working within a high-profile, luxury private household, and demonstrate discretion, impeccable presentation, initiative and have a genuine eye for detail. The usual working schedule is on split shifts working 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and then 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. 6 days per week. Because this role offers a Monaco contract, candidates must live within the Alpes Maritimes(06) or Italian border areas.

Duties will include:

Wardrobe management: preparing daily outfits, ironing and garment care, shoe care, maintaining and organising the dressing room, and keeping an accurate wardrobe inventory
Travel preparation: packing and unpacking luggage, preparing clothing, accessories, toiletries and all personal items required for travel
Travel accompaniment: accompanying the Principal on domestic and international trips and ensuring that his personal requirements are seamlessly managed throughout
Vitamins and medication: preparing and monitoring the Principal’s vitamins and medication as required
Formal and informal service: providing polished, discreet table service to the highest private-household standards, with a strong understanding of fine dining etiquette and service
Personal assistance: overseeing the Principal’s personal belongings and affairs, while proactively anticipating his requirements
Household support: contributing to the smooth running of the residence, including coordination with household staff and external service providers, overseeing deliveries and stock levels, and preparing the property and relevant areas for private dinners, receptions and events.

Requirements:

Previous experience within prestigious private residences, luxury hotels or other high-end hospitality environments
Specialist butler training undertaken abroad gives a serious advantage
Fluent French and good spoken English are essential
A strong knowledge of wines is a considerable advantage
Flexibility will be required, depending on the Principal’s changing schedule, travel arrangements and the needs of the family
EU passport is essential
Driving license is essential

This role does not offer accommodation therefore candidates must live within easy travelling distance of Monaco.

PROFESSIONAL CHAUFFEUR - MONACO - CDI

Our client in Monaco is currently seeking a full-time, professional and highly experienced chauffeur to join his household team. The contract will be a Monaco CDI and 8 hrs per day on average - however this role will not be a typical 9-5 schedule, it requires flexibility as there will be airport pick-ups etc which may be outside of the usual daily schedule. The family comprises the Principal, his wife, two young children and a grandparent. Any overtime worked will be given as 'time-off in lieu' when the Principal and family are not in residence.

Some occasional travel may be required therefore the new family chauffeur must be willing to adjust his schedule to the employers needs when required. Because of occasional irregular hours and days, plus travel, this role probably won’t suit a candidate who has a young family at home.

Duties will include:

Driving of Principal, children and extended family
Valeting and servicing of vehicles
Running daily errands for family and household

Requirements:

Extensive professional private chauffeur experience
Excellent letters of reference
Extensive experience driving luxury model vehicles
Fluent English is essential – spoken Italian/Russian an advantage but not essential
Must be extremely smart, clean and well-presented
Applicants MUST ALREADY be officially registered as living in either the Alpes Maritimes or Italian frontier area
Candidates of all ages will be considered however the client has expressed a slight preference for 30-45yrs old

ROTATIONAL FEMALE NURSE/CARER - MONACO/LONDON/BARBADOS UNDER OFFER

Our Monaco-based client is currently seeking a qualified nurse/or carer to become part of a team who look after an older lady suffering from dementia.

The nurses work in teams of 2 nurses/carers with each team working 4 weeks on/4 weeks off with a mixture of rotational day and night shifts. This role is 'live-in' only when the nurses are working their rotation. If the new nurse has an EU passport but does not live in the region around Monaco then their return flights will be arranged for the start and finish of each rotation.

This job is mainly based in Monaco however there will be occasional trips to the UK for social engagements, family events, Royal Ascot, the family yacht etc., plus the family spend November to March each year at their property in the Caribbean, therefore applicants must be willing to fly to the various locations when it is their rotation period.

Requirements:

• Nursing or Professional Carer qualification/experience

• Speaks fluent English to ‘mother tongue level

• Flexible approach and able to work well in a team

• EU passport (or British with French residency)

• Able to travel according to the employers schedule

An experienced villa stewardess/housekeeper is required to join a friendly and busy team in a large luxury rural property in Fayence in the Var region of France approximately 30 minutes from Cannes. 40hrs/6 days per week with paid overtime.

Duties will include:

Informal Table/F&B Service

GARDIEN/PET CARER - CHATEAUNEUF DE GRASSE

Our client is currently seeking an experienced multi-skilled caretaker/pet carer to look after his secondary property of 240m2 in Chateauneuf de Grasse. It is essential that the gardien is an animal-lover as they will be required to look after the employer's 2 dogs and 2 cats. Working 5.5 days per week, Monday – Saturday mornings. In the owner’s absence, weekend care is required, with a weekend off in lieu. The gardien will be accommodated in their own ensuite bedroom in the main body of the house.

Duties will include:

• Daily care of the 2 medium-sized gentle dogs and 2 cats

• Assist gardening contractor with keeping garden maintained/terraces tidy and pots watered

• Tidying home after weekly summer visits and assisting housekeeper where necessary

• Minor household maintenance tasks

Requirements:

FREELANCE DRIVER - ST TROPEZ - MID JUNE -MID SEPT POSITION NOW FILLED

This booking request covers a period of three months, six days per week, approximately 10 hrs per day, usually working one of two shifts, either 11am - 8pm or 3pm - 1am depending on the client's plans. These plans will be conveyed to the driver the day before, or earlier if the Principal's timetable has already been decided.

Flexibility is essential in this role as the driver’s weekly day off will be changeable dependent on the needs of the client and his guests. Additionally applicants must have the ability to legally invoice the client each month for completed work. Accommodation can be offered with this role and during periods when the Principal is in residence staff meals are provided, when he is not in residence, all staff prepare their own meals.

SEASONAL BUTLER - ST TROPEZ POSITION NOW FILLED

Our returning client is seeking an experienced, freelance butler to join a small team of interior staff at his luxury property in St Tropez. It is essential that the butler is able to work on a freelance basis, invoicing the client each month.

In both May and September (approximately eight weeks), the Butler will work only weekends, depending on when the owner is present. This results in an average of 3-4 working days per week, with the remaining days free. From June until the end of August, the schedule becomes seven days a week working approximately 10hrs per day.

Our Monaco-based client is currently seeking a qualified nurse/carer to become part of a team of 4 looking after an older lady with dementia.

The 4 nurse/carers work in 2 teams of 2, with each team working 4 weeks on/4 weeks off. One of each team will work the nights, the other will work the days, with this being alternated on a 2 week by 2 week basis. This role is 'live-in' only when the nurses are working their rotation. If the new nurse has an EU passport but does not live in the region around Monaco then their return flights/travel costs will be covered for the start and finish of each rotation.
