Administrative Assistant ~ Cagnes sur Mer

A well-established Financial & Individual Client Services company on the Côte D’Azur is currently seeking a long-term administrative assistant. The company offers a wide range of advice and assistance with finance, investments, tax, insurance, healthcare, pensions and mortgages to a mostly English-speaking clientele.

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to become a key part of the team. The assistant will take on a wide variety of tasks having the initiative to assist clients directly and seek solutions for their varied queries, while providing support to the financial advisors ; handling personal information with integrity and sensitivity.

 This is a varied and interesting role that requires a ‘hands-on’ approach, working individually and fully supporting the two Financial Advisors. Candidates are not required to have previously worked in the financial sector, as long as they have good relevant skills and are comfortable working in an informal, upbeat and often very busy environment. Working hours will be 9.00 – 17.30 - 5 days per week.

Requirements:

Butler/Manager  ~ Tanneron  ~ Start June‘25

Our client is currently seeking an experienced, energetic and knowledgeable long-term butler who has the ability to also provide simple management skills to ensure the smooth-running of his large, newly renovated property in Tanneron and oversee the small interior team. The Western European employer spends several months each year in residence at the property, often alone or with two close family members; in the summer season there will be busy weeks/weekends with guests regularly staying at the property. Applicants must like and be comfortable around dogs as the Principal has two medium/large breed family dogs at the property.

 

Duties will include:

  • 5* table and guest services

  • Managing a small household staff (2 housekeepers/chef/handyman)

  • Liaising with external contractors and local suppliers

  • Budgeting and stock control

  • Ensuring smooth running of the property

  • Running errands and assisting with restaurant reservations etc

  • Arranging household provisions – newspapers, flowers etc.

  • Stocking of preferred employer and household items

  • Wine cellar management

  • Ensure 24/7 readiness of property for Principal/Guest arrivals

  • Monthly reports to Principal/Family Office

Requirements:

  • Several years of proven similar experience

  • Excellent and verifiable references from prior employers

  • Ultra-quiet and discreet level of service

  • Quickly learn to anticipate the Principal’s requirements and where possible provide these in advance of them being requested

  • Take personal pride in the level of services provided

  • Ability to lead household team with patience, respect and kindness

  • Excellent front of house and formal/informal service skills

  • A ‘hands-on & can-do’ approach, able to assist colleagues whenever necessary

  • Responsible and autonomous, able to motivate the team

On-site accommodation is offered with this role. The Principal is currently renovating a property on the grounds of the estate to provide accommodation for the staff employed at the property. Tanneron is a small and  beautiful Provencal village located in the hills, about 30 minutes west of Cannes. Candidates should either live very locally or if residing at the property they must be happy to live long-term in a quiet, relatively rural area. Travel for 2-3 months to Dubai may be requested by the employer.

Travelling Butler/Manager ~ France/Middle East etc UNDER OFFER

An highly professional, energetic, organised and formally-trained butler is required for a long term role, travelling with our regular client and his wife to their various homes; usually spending 4 - 5 months in Paris and Cannes then transferring to the client’s other properties in the Middle East and elsewhere.  Duties will include all the usual traditional butler activities, formal and informal service, co-ordination and oversight of junior housekeeping and service staff, event management, guest and concierge services and if in a travelling role, the organisation of the homes in advance of the Principals arrival will be required.

Requirements:

  • Formally-trained butler with minimum of 3 years in a similar role

  • Fluent English/Conversational French

  • Excellent letters of reference

  • Recent criminal records check

  • Clean driving license

The Principal and his wife travel frequently therefore it must be understood that the role will not suit a butler who has a dependent family or personal commitments.

Salary: €5k npm (negotiable depending on experience)

Family Chauffeur ~ Cap d'Ail
Our client is currently seeking a long term live-out family chauffeur to join a small team of staff who are employed at his luxury property on Cap d’Ail. The family usually use the property more intensively in the summer however they are also beginning to come more frequently to the property for short periods outside of the high season months. These family have an excellent record of keeping the same staff very long term with current staff at the property having been in place for 16 years with the previous driver being employed by this family for 14 years.
Duties will include:
• Driving Principal, his family and guests
• Run errands when necessary for family/chef/housekeeper etc when necessary
• Airport drop offs/pick ups
• Maintain and valet vehicles
• Organise vehicle servicing etc
Requirements:
• Several years’ experience as a professional chauffeur
• Accustomed to driving Rolls Royce/Bentley/Mercedes/Porsche
• Excellent local knowledge
• French driving licence (carte prof. or grande remise preferred)
• Speak a good level of both French and English
• Flexible approach, able to adjust to last minute changes of plan
• Prepared to work overtime when required
• Already live within easy travelling distance of Cap d’Ail
• French residency or an EU passport
The family currently have a temporary driver however they will require a new long term driver to be able to start work asap.
