LIVE-IN TRAVELLING FAMILY ASSISTANT/MANNY/NANNY – NICE AND TRAVELLING

Our British/Australian clients are seeking an energetic and flexible multi-skilled ‘all-rounder’ to join their family team. Candidates will preferably have previous experience working in a family support role along with some experience working with older children/teens. The Manny/Nanny/Family Assistant must be happy to help with travel logistics, general daily organisational duties, light cooking if required plus on occasion provide support to a 17-year old son when the parents are away.

A full time housekeeper is employed in this family’s various properties.

The clients feel that this role would possible suit someone with a yachting background who is looking for a land-based role, someone with an open, positive approach, good hospitality skills, who is used to dealing with pressure, enjoys being around older children/teenagers and loves water sports. This role would suit candidates who likes structure, travel, activity and generally being useful in a busy family environment

Requirements:

  • Excellent prior similar experience in private homes or on yachts

  • Excellent letters of reference from previous employers

  • An EU passport is essential

  • Fluent English (some French an advantage)

  • Confident supporting a 17-year-old with mild autism

  • Naturally patient, positive and emotionally stable

  • Proven longevity in prior roles

  • Organised and efficient with a calm, capable attitude

  • Practical, hands-on and adaptable

  • Enjoys sport and fitness, especially water sports and is a strong swimmer

  • Happy with light cooking, shopping and tidying duties

  • Discreet, reliable, and socially intelligent (knowing when to engage and when to step back)

  • Travel-ready, flexible and unflappable across France, Monaco, UAE and Australia

  • Clean driving license

  • Happy living in both rural and urban environments

  • Comfortable to accompany family for up to two weeks per year on a yacht

 Accommodation of an ensuite room will be given within the family home and when travelling suitable accommodation will be provided. A car will also be provided at each location where necessary. There are no rigidly set hours with this role and no set number of weeks or months spent in the individual countries therefore adaptability, especially during times of travel is essential. These clients are open to contracting someone who is able to legally invoice them for this role or employing via a French CDI -  however it must be noted that the working hours required for this role will exceed the usual CDI 35 hrs per week.

Salary: €6k gross/brut per month

LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT ROTATIONAL NANNY/HOUSEKEEPER – TOURETTES SUR LOUP

Our client is currently seeking a nanny/housekeeper to join their household and assist with the care of their two children (2.5yrs and 4.5yrs) and the general cleaning of the family home. The nanny/housekeeper can work either one week on/one week off or two weeks on/two weeks off. The working week will be 7/7 - 10hrs per day - Monday to Friday and 14hrs per day Saturday and Sunday; this working week is followed by a full 7 days off during which time the family’s other nanny/housekeeper will work her rotation.

The family travel 3 times per year for two weeks and they would like their nanny/housekeepers to travel with them to help with the children etc.

This role can be live-in full time or live-in just during the working rotation. The employer is happy to provide an Uber for transport to and from Tourettes sur Loup at the start and finish of each working week (or two week) period, if the nanny housekeeper prefers to live out.

Requirements:

•             Excellent prior childcare/nanny experience

•             Excellent references

•             Fluent English and Tagalog

•             French carte de sejour or EU passport

 

Accommodation of own room with bathroom is provided with this role.

Salary: €2.8k net pm
